Return to work survival guide

Return to work survival guide

1. Drink tropical mocktails

Pro Tip: Add a banana to your mocktails to boost your happy hormones.

Enjoy your mocktail in a souvenir cocktail glass for additional envy from your colleagues. Bottoms up!

2. Wear holiday clothes

One of the best things about going on holidays is the comfortable clothes. Man, I love to be comfortable. Whether you prefer resort wear, evening wear or a wet suit, if you love it and it keeps your holiday alive – wear it to work. Let everyone respect how chill you are on holiday. Get started by wearing a sarong at work. Dare ya – tweet us @lastminute_au to prove it 😉

I’ve never felt so free

3. Listen to Beyoncé

The music I listen to while I’m travelling becomes a part of the holiday experience itself, and whenever I hear particular songs I’m instantly transported back. Picture this: I’m sitting at my desk in full beast mode smashing my to-do list, I fire up Spotify and *boom* I’m Drunk in Love on a New York subway with Beyoncé, next *bang* I’m on a London dance floor with LaRoux Going in For the Kill. Check out our very own return-to-work playlist on Spotify.

“I’m a survivor. I’m not gonna make it. I will survive. Keep on survivin’…”

4. Plan your next holiday

Start dreaming about your next destination and you need a game plan, a light at the end of the tunnel, and a {insert overused idiom here} to make it through to your next holiday. I’m lucky enough to work in travel, so can pass off looking at the travel deals as work – you my friend, should sign up for our newsletter so we can let you know where the good deals are.
Pro Tip: Click “the boss is coming” button at the top of our home page to evade onlookers from spoiling your plans.

Feeling stabby? Grab some pins and mark your next holiday destination on a map
