Dear Santa,
How are you? Hope Rudolph is well.
So, this year’s haul- I hope it’s a good one. I promise I’ve been a good girl. I’ve been exercising; eating right and only had three sick days this year. (Tonsillitis- it was hell!) I’ve been growing things in the garden, I’ve been uber nice to my boyfriend AND, I really behaved myself on a recent work trip to Perth. Here’s the evidence:
I know you’ve got a bazillion people to visit on Christmas Eve, so I thought I’d make things easy for you and give you a massive list of things I need/want/must have early on. And you know the best thing? I’m sure you can use this list for a lot of the ladies out there.
Two words Santa: Leonardo DiCaprio.
Just Imagine; me and Leo, together on the red carpet, taking a selfie. Not to mention all the other celebs that will be there! Plus I’ll get to mingle at the pre-ceremony foyer drinks and watch the awards.
That could so be me!
2: A Swim with the Whale Sharks in Exmouth
Santa, you know how much I love animals! And if this was in my Christmas stocking I would never ask for anything ever again- I swear.
3: High Tea on the Harbour
You know that there is nothing I love more than getting pretty and going for High Tea with the girls! And if it means I get to float along Sydney Harbour while doing it then- even better.
Santa, you know ever since I got back from India I’ve been craving momo’s, proper naan bread and kofta curries. And this book has all those recipes, plus more. It’s made of silk and the photography is amazing. Plus I think it will look amazeballs on my coffee table. Convinced?
5: Picnic Hamper
So, I kind of just want this for the basket and bottle of Veuve, but the choccies are a nice touch- don’t you think? Plus it’ll give me excuses to go on secluded romantic picnics with my boyfriend. Which means it’s a present for my boyfriend as well- two birds, one stone Santa.
6: Some nice wine glasses
I need to make a good impression now that I’m older Santa. I can’t keep drinking wine out of coffee cups like I did when I was at Uni- that is so 2009. Plus once I have these babies you’ll get to drink out of them too next year. Win win!
7: Real Champagne
I think any girl will agree with me that a bottle of *real* champers is appreciated, no matter what the occasion is. Put a bottle of this in my stocking and I’ll be a super happy camper. Plus! Check out how cheap that is per bottle?! Umm bargain.
This show looks awesome Santa, and yeah, it’s a bit risqué, but I’m not a little girl anymore. Ever since South Pacific, I’ve wanted to go back to the Sydney Opera House so badly! This show has been described as “A sexy razzle dazzle of cabaret, vaudeville and neoburlesque” by Time Out, New York. And even though I have no idea what those words mean, it must be amazing, right? And plus- with these tickets you get the performance and one theatre bar drink. Sorted.
9: Warner Bros Super Pass
What could be better than 28 days straight at my fave theme parks on the Goldie? Ok, so I totally won’t be able to get 28 days off work but maybe we can try and convince my boss if you get me this Super Pass?
10: A secret Hotel
Everyone loves a little mystery Santa! And if booking a secret hotel saves you some dosh then so be it- I’d love a night away. Thanks 🙂
So there you go Santa, I think I’ve given you more than enough ideas to work with here.
Just one last thing… are you still on a diet? Or did you want me to leave the Christmas Cake out for you this year? How about I leave both cake and carrot sticks? You can share with Rudolph 😉
