Christmas gift ideas for her
The most organised *ahem* lastminute lovely, Shauna, has some tips for what the special women in your life really want for Christmas this year.
So you’ve left your present buying until the last minute. I don’t blame you. I feel like I fell asleep in April and woke up in December. Where did the year go?!
Okay, now that I’ve gotten that out of my system, let’s get started. I’ve handpicked the top Christmas gift ideas for the females in your life, sure to put you in the good books. Check ‘em out!

Your BFF
This one should be easy. Close friendships are built on common interests, so buy something that you would like to receive.
You never know, you might get a share in the pressie!
For the outdoorsy bestie: Summer siesta anyone? With room for one, or two (ahem!), this huge, colourful hammock will make a perfect new addition to the backyard of your bff. If she doesn’t already, she’ll soon love spending time lounging around in the great outdoors.
For the gourmet guru bestie: Does she appreciate a nice glass of vino? Then take the lucky lady on a premium food and wine experience. Spend the relaxing day sampling exceptional local produce, including wine, fruits and cheeses.
For the bejewelled bestie: Show off with this Polli Origami Necklace. Beautifully handcrafted, your bestie will be desperate to show this little beauty off to all her friends!
Your lovely Mum or Mother-in-law
Think of all the awesome gifts your mum has given you over the years… it’s time to return the favour and show her you love her by spoiling her this Chrissie.
For the adventurous mum: Get back to nature with an extreme experience. Send her sky diving, paragliding, hiking up a mountain, kayaking, or my personal favourite, on a seaplane flight over the spectacular Whitehaven Beach. Jump in the plane with your leading lady and marvel at the pristine white sands of the famous beach, and then enjoy complimentary sparkling wine, and cheese and bikkies, when you find your feet at the end of the flight.
For the gourmet lover mum: The Beach House Picnic basket is perfect for a summer day in the park. You can add wine and chocolates to it too – If you’re lucky, she might even invite you along to enjoy it!
For the queen of her castle: Mum will love every second spent in and out of the garden with this trendy gardening kit. With stylish gloves, and a luxurious triple-milled soap, enriched with manuka honey, she’ll feel like a true queen bee.

Your wife/partner
Although she may love 50 shades of Grey, she’s probably read it a few times already, and I’m certain that she’ll appreciate a gift that she can use for more than two hours.
For the lover of the finer things in life: Primp and pamper your lovely lady until her skin glows and her toes tingle! There are plenty of pamper experiences Australia-wide that she will absolutely love (as would we!)
How about this two hour Japanese Massage and Bath in the Yarra Valley, that includes a hot mineral spa in a private Japanese walled garden, followed by a one hour full body massage, and then finished with complimentary Japanese tea and cake to sweeten the deal. Take it from me – this experience takes the cake when it comes to Chrissie presents!
For the masterchef: The Red Lantern is a restaurant loved by many, but why wait in line for a table when you can learn the Nyugen family’s secrets and impress friends and family with a new repertoire of delicious Vietnamese dishes. Secrets of the Red Lantern will make a great new edition to the kitchen of your lucky recipient.
For the home body: Give her the gift of comfort with this Sheridan Ultra Light Luxury Bath Robe. Not only will she be uber comfy, but she’ll be the queen of the castle when she dons this lush robe.

Your sister
You’ve grown up together, so buying a gift for your sister will be a piece of cake, right? Think again. I’ve got two sisters, and after all these years, choosing gifts for each of them definitely hasn’t gotten any easier.
Luckily, I’ve sat down and brainstormed some ideas for you. You can thank me later.
For the snap happy sister: Does your sister like to whip out the camera at every opportunity? Well, send her on a photography class to ensure all future pics are pure gold. There are classes all over the country that will help hone her skills.
For the indulgent sister: Buy her this chocolate and champagne gift pack and she’ll love you forever. With Byron Bay cookies, a bottle of Moet, and Max Brenner chocolate included, you might just have to buy two.
For the fashionable sibling: If you’re like me, you and your sister lived out of each other’s wardrobes when growing up. Just because you’ve grown up doesn’t mean this needs to stop. Especially when your lucky sibling will be boasting this fabulous Egg Shell Leather Handbag. What’s the saying again – what’s yours is mine?

Les enfants
Buying for your friend’s kids, your niece, or even just a younger friend of the family, is pretty tough. But no need to lose your head in Toys ‘R’ Us; I’ll give you a helping hand.
For a friend of the small and fuzzies: Your young recipient will adore this super soft and cuddle caramel fuzzy bear. With a floppy loose-limbed body, this fuzzy friend is easy to carry on any adventure.
For the water baby: Book the little one in for a kids surfing lesson! Take this opportunity to let your little one develop a love of the sea and water survival skills that they will use for life. We love this Sydney-based class that has various classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced surfers!

Still struggling for ideas?
For the more difficult to buy for females in your life, why not book her a stay at a luxurious hotel? Put simply, you cannot go wrong with a five-star stay in a lush hotel.
