Darren is the Senior Marketing Manager for lastminute.com.au. His passion for travel started with his first major overseas trip to Egypt and Israel, which can only be described as epic. Over the years he has found himself gravitating back to Europe with special memories of Italy & Spain. Staying in a former convent clinging to the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast, to dining at a Michelin 2-starred restaurant in Madrid, only makes him want to return to add to his list of travel experiences. Being a Sydney-sider all his life, he has enjoyed the evolving food & coffee scene, which makes up a big part of his weekend down-time, especially around his home in the diverse and exciting inner-west. Having close friends living overseas is also a great motivator for Darren to travel and whether its a weekend away to Christchurch or a longer stay in San Francisco, the thought of travel is never too far away.
