Bourbon Street, New Orleans
Bourbon Street is the heart of the French Quarter – the oldest neighbourhood in New Orleans, Louisiana. Which means it’s FULL to the brim of not only history but an endless supply of bars and fun to be found. I recommend spending your day wandering around the stores and learning about the history and then letting your hair down for the night time. If you’re a fan of the annual Mardi Gras celebration you’ll know all about Bourbon Street but if not, just know you’ll be in for a treat – it’s so much fun!
Hot tip: Head to Cafe Du Monde to try the famous Beignets, so yummy!

Beale Street, Memphis
Much like Bourbon Street, Beale Street is full of history and fun. Known for being the Home of Blues, Beale Street has endless options for a great night out. If you’re up for a big party, you can stay in the main area where there’s plenty of clubs and bars to keep you entertained but if you’re in the mood for some blues head to Blues City Cafe or B.B. King’s Blues Club.
Hot tip: Head to Wet Willie’s for delicious daiquiris

The Vegas Strip, Las Vegas
This place is like another world and everything is HUGE. When you first drive along The Strip, the first thing you’ll notice is the enormity of the casinos and how over the top things are. You’ll also notice that things look really close but in reality, when you’re walking there it takes a lot longer than you think. I guess it’s a good thing they allow you to drink on the streets, to distract you from all the walking you’ll be doing! Vegas is by far one of my favourite places I’ve been so far but I couldn’t spend more than a week there at a time – just be aware that you’ll come out wanting more 😉
Hot tip: Use the monorail – It’s a godsend if you have sore feet from too much walking and partying.

La Rambla, Barcelona
The most famous street in Barcelona, La Rambla is a walking street lined with huge green, leafy trees which creates a relaxed atmosphere – perfect for holidays! With lots of kiosks selling souvenirs, flowers and lots of cafes and bars you’ll have plenty to do and buy. Keep an eye out for the human statues that frequent the street, they’re so cool to see!
Hot tip: Wear your walking shoes though, you’ll be sure to get sore feet!

Champs-Élysées, Paris
Technically it’s an avenue but for the sake of this list we’ll just go with it. Surrounded by history this famous avenue actually translates to Elysian Fields, loosely meaning heaven on earth so you can just imagine what it looked like in its heyday. You can walk from the Louvre, through the Tuilerie Gardens to Place de la Concorde continuing on to Arche de Triomphe – don’t forget to get the typical selfie in front! Make sure you head to Ladurée for macarons and if you’re up for some retail therapy, you’ll score plenty of bargains at the likes of well-known stores like Sephora (YES!), GAP, Banana Republic as well as many local boutiques.
Hot tip: If you’re travelling on budget, go just off Champs Elysees for cheaper restaurants.
