    Wonderful to be able to sleep with windows open

    Great spot within walking distance to Walsh Bay and the city. Staff are always lovely and very welcoming and helpful. Love staying in a hotel where you can sleep with the windows open instead of aircon. Very generous and comfortable rooms and beds. Love that the bathrooms have kept some character. The breakfast that's included could use a bit of thought though.

    Never again

    Check in was unorganised but did actually happen eventually. Room was ok but small had to put the suitcase in the bathroom. Got back to the room after a full day out looking forward to a nice hot bath. Oops no hot water. Called and was told the plumber had just been and would be ok in 15min. Tried again in about 1hr. Nothing called again and was told it won’t be fixed until the morning. In the morning still not going. So had to check out. When I explained I was told the water would be fixed. He simply said no way and dismissed me as a lier. I then proceeded to just leave without even a simple apology. Still waiting to see if the extra night I paid for is refunded. Never again. Staff were nice but management are rude and really have no concern for the customers
