This was our second stay at the Four Seasons Sydney. We selected this hotel because of its proximity to the cruise terminal and mainly because we had a wonderful stay the first time a couple of years ago. A few months prior, I had messaged the hotel that we would be celebrating our 7th anniversary and was disappointed that only one person at the front desk had acknowledged. We were accommodated in an "older" suite with no power outlet near the bed. To plug in our cell phone, we had to move either the sofa or the TV stand or the beds, yikes. There were some confusions with management and staff about the configuration of our suite. We received a Real Time Feedback response that someone will address our issues, but no one had contacted during our 7-days stay at the hotel. Service at the MODE restaurant (breakfast) was inconsistent; we had to wait 20 mins for a cup of coffee one time, but after we complained, management addressed it right away.
Nevertheless, despite our initial disappointments, we were very pleased with the service, especially the housekeeping staff. They left little treats in our suite, with cute notes and even provided me with a mousepad for our laptop (I was using a magazine cover for my mouse). Also, David, Valentina and Anna took excellent care of us in Lounge32. Not sure if we would stay here again the next time we return to Sydney. For the same price or less, I think we can get a better value at other similar rated hotels.
