This hotel is great loacation for any event at Suncorp Stadium which is just down the road. There is free limitless parking across three road if you are lucky to get one of the 4 spots. The taxi fair from Roma St Train Staion was less than $15 I recieved a free room upgrade and an earlier check in which was great. Customer service exceeded expectations and was a very friendly and beautiful service. :)

"Good location great staff"
I stayed in a one bed apartment, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Location was great, however, the apartment smelt of stale cigarette smoke and Mold, the kitchen was greasy and the glasses were dirty. And he air con didn't work, but it was a mild day so I just opened up the balcony doors, put on the ceiling fan and wiped down the kitchen and put the glasses and dishes in the dishwasher in the dishwasher.. problem solved : )

Gambaro Hotel Brisbane - Brisbane Hotels

Gambaro Hotel Brisbane

33 Caxton Street Petrie Terrace, Brisbane - Map
"Great hotel"
Lovely hotel, excellent location and nice touches like double glazed windows and automatic blinds to keep noise and light out. Only a few small things that would have made this better 1. Tv wasn't working properly and no movie options - staff tried to figure it out and then offered to move us which we did and they upgraded us also - nice result but wasted a bit of time. 2. We had late check out but had a cleaner buzzing the room incessantly about 40 mins before check out - she was embarrassed when i let her know we have late check out and must not have got the memo! Great though

"Pleasant hotel handy to South Bank"
Very modern and well-equipped rooms. Comfy King Size beds. On con side - deceptive pricing re car parking. It appears to be included in room price in the literature but in fact they charge $35 a night. One of the towels in the room was threadbare and had a hole in it.

There are also heaps of vintage shops and boutique fashion stores dotted around the place - the antique stores in Woolloongabba are a must-stop. Also, the Saturday Fresh Markets and the Sunday Discovery Markets at Rocklea are always popular. So make sure you bring your credit cards!
