Siloah is a place that has loads of cool stories to tell. If you feel like your life's been a bit humdrum lately, a trip here is the perfect answer!

It's situated 100 kilometres west of Kingston, the capital of Jamaica.

The nine-to-five will be a distant memory after an afternoon spent at the Appleton Estate.

Think about taking a hamper so you can enjoy a leisurely lunch on the shore at Turtle Beach or James Bond Beach.

You don't need to travel too far to experience some superb natural sights. Jump in the car and head in the direction of YS Falls, 13 kilometres away from Siloah, for a relaxed day. Or perhaps Green Grotto Caves is of more interest? You'll find it 45 kilometres away.

Are you a huge sports fan? Then look up the event schedule at Jarret Park, located 40 kilometres to the northwest in Montego Bay.

Like the sound of Bubbling Spring Mineral Bath and High Street? These awesome sights are in Middle Quarters, just 16 kilometres southwest of Siloah. Or maybe Fonthill Nature Reserve and Parrotee Pond Mangroves are more your thing? To see them, go to Black River, 20 kilometres to the southwest.

Located 25 kilometres to the southeast, Mandeville is a destination that has plenty to offer. Cecil Charlton Park, Marshall's Pen Great House and the Mrs Stephenson’s Garden are all pretty close. Keep in mind, Huntington Summit and Marshall’s Pen are also worthwhile.
