After you've picked up your luggage and walked out of arrivals at Shenzhen International Airport, head 35 kilometres southeast to reach Sheung Shui. You'll find this neighbourhood 25 kilometres north of the downtown area.

A good portion of this city's leading sights are scattered near Sheung Shui, and the Hong Kong Golf Club and the Shenzhen Museum are two of the most outstanding. After taking a look at those, you're going to want to keep going to the Hong Kong Institute of Education and Coco Park. A great way to immerse yourself in this city is to roam around some of its neighbourhoods. So why not head to nearby Fanling and Shenzhen and discover their unique charms?

No visit to Hong Kong is complete without a stop at Soho. As far as captivating sights go, it's up there with the best. You'll find it just 0.7 kilometres from the city centre.
