Travel is life. So pack your bags, kiss your goldfish goodbye and take yourself off to Ota! A Tokyo neighbourhood, it's a seriously good base for discovering this sensational city's sights. With 8,300,000 people calling the capital of Japan home, you're bound to meet some new friends (or maybe even a new bae) while you're in town. From Haneda Airport, Ota is a commute of 3 kilometres to the northwest. If you're arriving from the city centre, you'll find the neighbourhood 12 kilometres to the south.

This city is bursting with exciting things to do, and you'll find many of them near Ota. It's not easy to pick the best sights, but the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum and the Kawasaki Daishi are two you can't miss. After taking a look at those, you'll want to continue onwards to Rainbow Bridge and the Keio University. While you're in town, think about exploring other neighbourhoods to experience more of what Tokyo offers. Keihinjima and Jonanjima are good suggestions that are close by.
