"Just Amazing"
We recently stayed at the newly renovated Casino on the Gold Coast and we loved it! The new rooms are just lovely and very comfortable and very tech savvy! We couldn't fault the rooms at all and throughly enjoyed our stay. Will stay there again when we go to the Gold Coast again!

"Great rooms, Central Surfers Paradise."
Positives: We received a much appreciated upgrade to a newly renovated room - nice big space with kitchenette, table, lounge and balcony (from which we enjoyed gazing at the view). Only an overnight trip we decided we would stay longer another time, close to the beach and a pool with towels available for swimming. Negatives were Car-Parking was additional ($30) and I didn't discover this when booking through last minute, and the breakfast was very standard lacking in taste and quality ingredients (although it was included in a very good daily rate).

"Nice hotel "
Great room. Except had to wipe the aircon every 30 minutes from water dripping out and at breakfast had a lady pointing a fake gun around and at people.

"Great hotel, shame about the food. "
Had an overall great time at SeaWorld Resort. Happy with our room except for the shower, minimal water comes out of shower - but I guess it's a water saver- wouldn't stop me from going back. The pool and playground area is wonderful for the kids and suits all ages! Great option of kids club at night so parents can enjoy a quiet dinner - we didn't use so I can't rate. A real let down was the food... Buffet restaurant - the worst buffet I have had (breakfast & dinner). The Lobby bar served food and had a seperate proper seated area - but service in that area wasn't great - usually a staff member on the bar having to service both areas. Food was hit and miss. Food Service was okay, but then the cleaner left the tray in our room two days in a row. There is a Tepenyaki Restaurant but we did not get to try. Would stay at SeaWorld again but would opt to eat out of the resort.

    Things to do

The most popular attractions in the Gold Coast north region are, without a doubt, the theme parks. So, get up close and personal with marine creatures at Sea World, brace yourself for the exhilarating rides at Dreamworld, hang out with your fave characters at Warner Bros. Movie World and take a splash at Wet'n'Wild.

If you'd rather go fishing than ride roller coasters, you can try your luck in the angling paradise of Runaway Bay or just live it up and hire a yacht to cruise around the harbour for a day. And if the prestige of sailing around in a yacht has gotten to your head, how about spending a few nights on Hope Island? This community is for the really elite and if you pop into the island's Sanctuary Cove estate, you'll see million-dollar houses that back onto picturesque canals with picturesque private yachts to match! While you're here, you can unwind in a day spa or hit the links at the championship golf course. And if you'd like to see some more of those pretty yachts, head down to the Gold Coast City Marina and Shipyard in Coomera. This is the largest marina in the entire southern hemisphere, so you can either take out a second mortgage to pay off your very own yacht or just pretend that you've got money to spend while you wander around.

    Shopping and dining

Need to scratch that retail itch? Look no further than Runaway Bay Shopping Village and Westfield Helensvale for all your shopping and dining needs. Alternatively, you can sit down for a fancy meal at one of the waterfront restaurants in the Hope Sanctuary Marine Village or indulge in dinner and a show at the Australian Outback Spectacular.

    Getting here and around

To get here, secure a ticket on one of these cheap flights to the Gold Coast and then get around by train, bus or hire car.

What's the hold up? Book your Gold Coast north accommodation with us now and live up every lastminute in Queensland!
