    Central with great views

    Had an issue with doonas being to small for the beds when we arrived but this was quickly resolved. Overall could not fault the apartment.

    We booked 2 of 2 bedrooms apartment, the rooms are really small. No way close to the picture provided. One of the in room need maintenance. The lifts were high demand and always crowded expected the long waited. We can’t get any help from reception at ground floor even when toilet paper runout as they said they not related to agent we booked with Expedia. Checking in was difficult, have to go to different buildings on another street, I went in there but no one there to check you in, have to called a few time on different number before reception turn up to the desk, but receptionist herself was nice and did her job okay, I have to pay $500 bonds with condition of refund in 3-31 days!!! Also no leave luggage service.

    Modern, good views, clean, quiet. Central location. Windows could have done with a clean from the outside. A bit annoying to pick up the key from a different location. Ideas for parking prior to arriving would have been helpful too.

    It was easy to locate the check in office and the apartment, with many surrounding food venues and close to the Bourke Street Mall and transport. We had arranged a slightly earlier check in, but were unable to get hold of the person to check in and had to wait the 45 minutes to the 2pm check in time. When we arrived at the unit, the door to the apartment was unlocked; the apartment floor was gritty; the kitchen had food splatter on the splashback, gas hotplates and the kitchen appliances; the bathroom had a pungent smell of urine and dampness and water had pooled over the bathroom floor, particularly behind the toilet and between the toilet and shower (a shower leakage requires maintenance). Overall the unit was unclean and appeared not to have been serviced prior to our arrival - the shower had soap scum on the walls, floor and glass screens and door; all the cupboard door handles were sticky and had food crumbs trapped in them; the dining table had smears and food crumbs over it and there were dirty marks on the furniture. In the bedrooms we found the sheets, particularly the bottom sheet, had dirty marks, sand and grit on them, mostly under the pillow. The apartment door does not lock externally without the key, a damaged dining chair was pushed up under the table so as not to be noticed/used as it is quite dangerous and the pillows were too large to provide comfort. The apartment was quiet and dark to provide us with a reasonable nights sleep after our active days.
