Holidays in Jung-gu

Take some time out from adulting for a bit. It's time to jump to that wildly fun part of your life where you hit up Seoul! This awesome city is crammed with surprises, and you'll find many of them hidden in neighbhourhoods like Jung-gu. The capital of South Korea is home to 10,300,000 people. Don't be scared to get out and make friends with a few of them! After landing and collecting your bags at Gimpo International Airport, your ride will travel 17 kilometres east to get to Jung-gu. From the heart of the city, it's a commute of 1 kilometre to the southeast.

Jung-gu is heaven on earth for sightseers. A good number of the city's best attractions are sprinkled near this interesting neighbourhood, including Dongdaemun Market and Gyeongbok Palace. After taking a look at those, you're going to want to continue on to the COEX Convention and Exhibition Center and the National Museum. For another perspective on the city, head to Myeongdong and Bangsan Market, nearby neighbourhoods that are definitely worth a peek.

You don't have to search too hard for things to do in the city centre. The Korea University and the Sungnyemun Gate will enthrall you for hours. It'd be a shame to leave the area without stopping by Deoksugung Palace and N Seoul Tower as well.

Korea House, Supsok Hanbang Land, the Seven Luck Casino Millennium Seoul Hilton Branch and sanmotoonge are ideal for those without any kids in tow.

Learn about the region's spiritual side or just take a moment in the beautiful surroundings of the Jogyesa Temple, Jongmyo Shrine, Myeongdong Cathedral and Waryongmyo Shrine.

It's time to polish your Mexican wave and work on your singing voice. Come down and cheer on one of the home teams, the LG Twins and Doosan Bears, at Jamsil Baseball Stadium.
