  • Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
  • Disliked: Property conditions & facilities

The grounds were very rundown and unkept. The buildings very old and in need of some repairs. But you don’t expect too much for the price of the accommodation.

Not alot. Worst place I've ever stayed in. No extra blankets, no tea towel, frozen seafood shells left in freezer that made the fridge smell. Smoke alarm was removed and fire extinguisher was empty. Outside is not what it looks like in the photos. Basically it's in ruins

Good value but you pay for what you get

The owner could make so much more out of the establishment. We were a little cold during the night and would have liked an extra blanket. The shower had good pressure but the shower head should be replaced. We would definitely be happy to stay here again. So all in all, not too bad!

The granny flat unit was perfect for a holiday with teenagers. Plenty of room for everyone to have enough personal space. The facilities met our needs & the beds were comfortable. The hot water is great & the water pressure perfect for a relaxing shower at the end of big days. No TV in the unit but with good WIFI signal & our laptop we were able to watch the news & football. Linen was crisp & clean - just as it should be. It's not a 5 star palace however it at the reasonable price per night we got value for our money with the space, comfort & security. The finishings on the unit show the age but it is a diamond in the rough that we will return to. It is a quirky property having originally being a nursery & the entrance which still includes the huge statues & Greek style columns may raise some eyebrows but it is intriguing. The biggest issue we had was noisy folks staying one night in the room next door but that can't be helped.
