Allara Homestead is a beautiful property which is quite unique. Ian and Cheryl create a wonderful experience for their guests. The gourmet breakfasts were so amazing using local produce. Just divine!

Our room was The Boat Shed and it was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. The peeks we got into other rooms as we went past were the same, individually themed with carefully considered and chosen decor, lovely presentation and spotless. The hosts were absolutely wonderful. Breakfast each morning was delicious with home made bread and preserves and a different home made cooked dish each day (frittatas one day and souffle omelette the next, both amazing). The breakfast area is on the verandah of the main house, overlooking the gardens and dams so you can sit and watch the abundance of bird life during breakfast, with lovely table settings and presentation. The room also included sweet touches such as home made slice in our room on arrival, port and chocolates. The room had a small stereo/alarm/iPhone dock available for use but no charging for android. Even though the property is very close to Montville, we found the cab services to be unreliable unless booked well in advance (as in at least the day prior) but a couple of the establishments in town such as the pub and another venue had courtesy buses (again, best to pre-arrange these as they can get busy, especially on weekend evenings).

Lots of little luxury touches and immaculate presentation in a beautiful location. Breakfast was a highlight with a selection of gourmet options including extra tasty fresh prepared hot options that are not the run of the mill dishes. Hosts are genial and professional.
