This property is a real pearl. Breathe taking views of the ocean in a gorgeous home - everything possible for a dream holiday on kangaroo island. I will be definitely booking this house again.

Millpond is a perfectly appointed holiday home. It was an absolute delight to stay here and it will be the first place I look on my next trip to KI. All the little details are there - platters, spices, tools for seafood, puzzles/books for rainy days. The front verandah was a lovely place to relax, watch the dolphins, birds and see the wallabies :)

The location was great, an easy find and a short trip from the docking warf for sealink. The cottage was clean, and very cute. The spot was quiet and peaceful There was everything you would need if you were self catering. The people in the shops and businesses were very friendly. We would recommend this old world cottage for your stay on Kangaroo Island. Looking forward to coming back sometime.

Clean, homely with the view- we could all relax

Over about a week we stayed in a luxury tent and an ocean front villa. Both were clean and well equipped. Wifi wasn’t the best. The luxury tent had a very small kitchenette and of course didn’t have great insulation so when the sun came out the walls got warm. When it was windy the tent flapped around a bit. The villa was excellent. Spacious with everything you need and parking right by the door. There’s a private balcony but it had a privacy wall blocking any view while seated. Location is a few steps from the ferry terminal, IGA supermarket, pub and more. Recommended for a quiet place to stay.
