New research by reveals Australian’s romantic interests, whether people are single or in a relationship, plays a significant role in deciding whether to book a holiday; and in many cases seeking love & romance is the sole reason for travel.

The ‘Holiday Lovers’ research found that many people choose destinations based on their ability to ‘pick-up’ a holiday fling. At the other end of the spectrum, others book last minute escapes to save a relationship that’s ‘on the rocks’. Read more

City breaks: Melbourne remains the number one city to visit in 2016.

In 2016, we predict Melbourne will continue to be ‘Australia’s favourite capital city’, being voted as the number one capital city to visit next year, according to a survey of 2600+ Australians.

Kate Norris, travel expert, says Melbourne is a consistent hot spot for Aussie domestic travellers and will continue to drive the crowds in 2016 given it offers something for everyone from the sport, to the art, comedy, inner city bars and coffee haunts. Read more
