The Sydney Royal Easter Show is Australia’s largest annual event showcasing Australian culture, innovations, education and entertainment. It has continued to be a pivotal event in the city’s calendar since it’s humble beginnings in 1823.

This year, the Show will feature a new Family Zone in the Park with hours of free entertainment including a themed high-dive show, Sinbad – In Search of the Golden Pineapple, Farm Art in the Park hay-bale artistry, Ashton Circus Skills Workshop and the ABC kids stage and activities.

Show your tastebuds a good time in the new Food and Wine Garden, where they will be serving up a feast of local and international flavours. There’s exciting competitions from wood chopping to dog events, from the grand champion bulls to the cutest little cats, and from the death defying quad bike backflips to the Sydney Royal Rodeo Series in the Showtime Spectacular evening program. Give the kids a taste of country life and introduce them to all the farmyard and native wildlife animals on display. The Show just wouldn’t be the same without a Showbag or three to take home.
