Byron Bay International Film Festival 2013

The 2013 Byron Bay International Film Festival (BBFF) brings people and film together with its captivating, stimulating and entertaining programme. Running from the 1st to the 10th March, this dynamic 10 day festival recognises, supports, and screens an abundance of local and international film culture in a stunning natural setting.

There’s something special about the BBFF. It allows audiences and visitors to feel part of this unique event through the festival’s trademark ability to create a sense of intimacy which connects people from all over the world as locals, visitors, film professionals and film buffs interact over their common love of film. It drops the lights, raises the curtains and takes you on a journey through 220 independent films including 13 world premieres and 122 additional Australian premieres.

The Gala Red Carpet Opening Night and Closing Party are showcase nights for glitz, and glamour. Many of the visiting national and international VIPs also impart their wisdom and experience in free workshops throughout the festival.
