Star Ratings in the Czech Republic (HO.RE.KA CR)

Accommodation ratings and categories in the Czech Republic are managed by the organisation HO.RE.KA CR. Definition of accommodation facility categories
Hotel - an accommodation facility with at least 10 guest rooms, equipped for offering a temporary accommodation and related services (especially boarding); hotels rank in five categories; garni hotels can offer only a limited boarding service (breakfast at least) and rank in four categories.
Motel - an accommodation facility with at least 10 guest rooms, offering a temporary accommodation and related services for motorists and ranks in four categories. Bed & Breakfast - an accommodation facility with at least 5 rooms, with a limited offer of related services, nevertheless with an accommodation service at the level of hotels, and ranks in four categories.
Other accommodation facilities - camp sites - groups of bungalows - tourist dormitories - hotels

Classification of accommodation facilities within categories:
Accommodation facilities of the category of garni hotel, bed & breakfast and motel can receive four stars maximum.
