(Just make sure you check for authenticity so you get what you pay for!) See the rest of the island by hiring a scooter or motorcycle. It’s really cheap to rent and not to mention- super fun! Ride down to the southern fishing town of An Thoi. Here, you can hire a boat to take you to the small islands south of Phu Quoc.

Staying on land? Leave your Phu Quoc resort and see the Suoi Da Ban River. Here you can watch the waterfalls and hike through the pepper and cashew plantations. Or you could just veg out in the deckchairs along the beach. The beaches on the west coast are the only ones in Vietnam where you can watch the sunset. How romantic!
