Overview
Aore Island Resort is a boutique resort with 18 bungalows, all with large balconies overlooking the ocean and tropical gardens. The Resort is set on the sandy beachfront of a private tropical island, only a 10 minute ferry ride to the main town of Luganville, Espiritu Santo. An ideal base for the active and adventurous or to simply relax, unwind and enjoy island time.

All bungalows have private bathrooms, hot showers, refrigerators, fans, tea & coffee making facilities, irons and hairdryers.

From our beach front bungalows it is only a few steps to great snorkelling in crystal clear water on a coral reef rich with marine life.

The Melanesian style ‘Nakamal’ open air restaurant and bar is on the waters edge with terrace dining and panoramic bay views. Enjoy a cocktail at sunset and dine with the lights reflecting across the water creating a romantic ambiance unique to Aore Island Resort. Menu choices include the famous Santo beef and fresh local seafood.

Divers can experience all the great dive sites, including the SS President Coolidge and pristine coral reefs, with the local dive operators. There is an on-site dive operation, Aore Island Dive, offering full personal service with boat dives.

Getting There
Visitors to Aore Island Resort fly to Pekoa International Airport, Santo. It is then only a five minute drive from the airport to the Resort ferry at BP Wharf Luganville and a ten minute ride across the Segond Channel to the Resort.

Transfers are included in the rates. A shuttle bus meets guests at the airport and transfers guests to the wharf, from the wharf the Resort’s ferry brings guests to Aore Island. Please advise your flight times in the comments field.
