Overview
The Empire State Suite is a beautiful, one bedroom, 2 room apartment that sleeps 4 people in the very center of Manhattan - just a 5 minute walk from the Empire State Building. The apartment is comfortable and cosy and even has a fireplace! The nicest part about the apartment is the view, it is not of skyscrapers, back alleys or brick walls but rather of a ballroom dancing studio which is situated right across the street. The view is very relaxing after a busy day in New York.
The Empire State Suite and our other apartments managed by our company are the only environmentally-friendly serviced apartments in New York. We are trying to have as little impact on environment as possible. We use only eco-friendly cleaning supplies and recycled materials for all the paper and glass that we use in the apartment. We have signed a special contract with the electric company to ensure that we use only electricity generated by wind and water, it costs a little more but we think it is worth it! We also try to use as much recyclable materials as possible. Nowadays everyone has to be thinking about the impact on our planet, and it's the little things like this that start to make a difference.
The apartment has a cosy bedroom with good closet space and a queen size bed. The living room has a pull out sofa bed that can sleep up to 2 people as well as a table with chairs and cable TV with International channels. The apartment also comes with free high speed Internet access. The kitchen is just the right size and has a stove, pots and pans, and a dishwasher. You have everything at your disposal to cook your own meals. Considering the apartment location and the amenities, the apartment is one of the best apartments in our database in terms of value for money. We hope to see you in New York!

Apartment surroundings:
There are several banks located on the corner of 5th Avenue and 37th Street if you need an ATM or other bank services. Close to the corner with 5th Avenue there is also a Verizon Wireless shop where you can get a pay-as-you-go mobile subscription if you want to have a local connection during your stay. The best place to have breakfast is the bakery on the corner of 5th Avenue and 37th Street ?Au Bon Pain?. If you need groceries or a snack, you can buy it all in the Deli right next door 'DuMonde'. There is also a large organic grocery 'Whole Foods' on 42nd street and Park Ave (address 200 Park Avenue) in the same building as Grand Central Station. For dinner drop by 'Frankie and Johnny's Steakhouse', after the dinner or lunch they will drive you to wherever you want to go in NYC in their big white limousine for free - complimentary service for customers.

Getting There
Nearest Subway station: 34th Street, Herald Square (trains B,D,F,V,N,Q,R,W), 42nd Street, 5th Avenue, Bryant Park (trains B,D,F,V), 34th Street (trains 1,2,3), 42nd street, Times Square (trains 1,2,3, N,Q,R,W, S, 7).

Directions to the apartment:
The apartment is located right in the middle between 5th and 6th Avenues on 37th Street. It is right next door to Frankie and Johnny's Steakhouse (the door on the left if you're looking at the steakhouse).

How to open your apartment door:
It's a door with glass in the middle. Just open the door with your key (you need to use the one with the blue cover for the front door on the street, and the one with no cover for the apartment door). Walk up the stairs to the 4th floor and you will see the apartment at the top, it will be the first apartment on the right with a big number 3 on it.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL GUESTS FOR PICKING UP YOUR KEYS FOR THE APARTMENT:
Please note: All guests need to pick up keys for your apartment at the key collection point.
Address: West 38th Street (between 8th and 9th Avenue).
Guests must collect the keys and fill out security deposit documents in our office to obtain entry to their apartment. The key collection point is centrally located. It is right by Port Authority bus terminal. If guests take an airport shuttle they will arrive there and it's a 2 minute walk to the office of the key collection point.
