Getting There
TRAIN:
Departs every 10 to 20 minutes from the train station (four trains run in total overnight).
Tickets can be purchased in advance.
Journey time: 20 minutes.
Cost: from £2.65 single.
BUS - NO 43:
Operates from 05:06 to 23:25.
Departs every 10 minutes between and 09:30 and 18:13, then every 30 minutes outside of these times.
Journey time: 45-60 minutes.
Cost: single fares are available from the driver, while a Day Saver ticket is available for £3.20 and is valid until midnight on any bus. Single tickets are the best value for one journey.
TAXI:
Depart from all terminals and from the bus/train station.
Journey time: 20-40 minutes.
Cost: £15.00-£20.00.
TRAIN:
Manchester has four main train stations:
Piccadilly: Main station in Manchester with arrivals from London, Edinburgh, Cardiff and many other destinations.
Victoria: Located to the north area of the city centre and serves routes mainly to the north and east of the city.
Oxford Road: Located between Deansgate and Piccadilly, this station serves destinations in south Manchester as well as regions in north England such as Blackpool, Preston and Leeds.
Deansgate: Most trains from Oxford Road will pass through this station. Deansgate also links with the conference centres G-Mex and the Manchester International Convention Centre (MICC) via a foot bridge.
Parking Info
The Palace hotel does not have it's own car park, however we work with the Euro Car Park. This is a secure car park located on Pritchard street, the rate we have negotiated with them is £8.50 per 24 hours.
