All bedrooms are individually designed and luxuriously decorated, including luxury Hypnos double, king size or twin beds. The bedrooms are well equipped to suit the needs of both business and leisure guests. They include telephones with a modem point, voice mail and direct dial facility, satellite television on flat screen LCDs, mini bar, laptop safes and a hairdryer in each room.
Some of the Premier bedrooms also feature 17" flat screen TV’s at the end of each bath and air conditioning. Bathrooms have quality showers, ceramic tiled floors, fluffy bath towels and luxury toiletries from Duck Island.
Six bedrooms are on the ground floor of the hotel and may be suitable for disabled guests.

Business Facilities
The Hotel’s conference rooms are luxuriously decorated to reflect the hotel’s regency period, providing a superb environment conducive to successful meetings. The Green Room on the ground floor has large windows providing lots of natural daylight. It can seat up to 50 people theatre style. The sumptuous Morning Room, complete with open fire is perfect for meetings of up to 12 people. On the first floor, the elegantly furnished Library and Drawing Room combine to make a really exclusive venue for meetings of up to 24 delegates boardroom style or 50 theatre style. The Alcove, just off the Ivy Brasserie, is the perfect private room for small meetings of between 10 and 12 people. Wireless internet access is available free of charge, throughout the hotel for guests attending meetings and conferences at the hotel.

Getting There
By car
From the North via the A19 or A1 - Approaching York on the A19 proceed straight ahead on reaching the roundabout at the outer ring road (A1237) and follow the signs for the City Centre. Continue for approximately 2 miles where The Grange is on the right just beyond the footbridge to St. Peter’s School.
From the A1 take the A59 and follow the signs to York. Turn left at the outer ring road (A1237) and right at the intersection with the A10 to City Centre.

From the South via the M1 and A1 - Travel North on the M1 until it joins the A1 (M) then follow the signs for the A64 York. Travelling East on the A64, take the A1237 (York outer ring road) and continue for approximately 5 miles following the signs to Thirsk (A19). On reaching the roundabout at the A19 turn right to the City Centre and proceed for approximately 2 miles. The Grange is on the right just beyond the footbridge to St. Peter’s School.
