Getting There
FROM A36 (WARMINSTER ROAD)
Follow A36 down hill into Bath. At the bottom of the hill you will come to a mini roundabout, take the right turn into Bathwick Street. You will pass the fire station and go across the bridge, directly after (before the traffic lights) take the slip road to the left. You will join the A4 into the City Centre and then come to a mini roundabout, take the right fork (A4) and follow this road to another set of lights on George Street-you will need to be in the left hand lane.
Follow George Street along the front of the Royal York Hotel Travelodge until you come to a sharp bend to the left, this is Gay Street. You will come to a set of traffic lights at the top of Queen Square. The Square is a two-lane road, take the inside lane and you will see the Francis on your left-hand side after the first corner.
FROM A4 (BRISTOL)
Follow the A4 into Bath. You will pass Royal Victoria Park and follow the Upper Bristol Road to Charlotte Street. At the end of Charlotte Street you will reach the corner of Queen Square. Take the right hand lane and the Francis Hotel will be on your left-hand side after the second corner.
FROM M4 (MOTORWAY)
Follow the M4 to Junction 18, exit the motorway and follow the A46 into Bath (this stretch of road is eight miles long). Leave the A46 at the ?Bath junction?. Take the third exit off the roundabout towards Bath, onto the A4 London road that is one mile long, proceeding through five sets of traffic lights. You will then come to a mini-roundabout, take the right fork (A4) and follow this road to another set of lights on George Street-you will need to be in the left hand lane.

We have a limited car park that is available to residents only. To reach this, take the first left turning after the hotel and the car park is on your left. Spaces are available on a first come first served basis.
To re-join the main road on your departure, turn left out of the car park and turn right at the end of the road. On reaching the traffic lights turn right to take you back into Queen Square, where you may take the relevant exit.

There is limited car parking at the Hotel, which works on a "first come, first served basis" and is chargeable per overnight stay.
