Overview
The Lansdowne Hotel is privately owned and has been in the same family ownership since 1912. It is this that has given the hotel a personal touch that is still very evident today. The hotel staff and management are flattered that so many guests express their appreciation of this fact.
The Hotel occupies a premier position on the majestic seafront overlooking the Western Lawns and Wish Tower with superb views of Beachy Head and the sea.The Congress Theatre, Winter Garden, Devonshire Park Theatre and grounds are just three or four mintues' walk away. The theatres offer spectacular productions, backed up by two cinemas and entertainment on the 300m long pier.
The cosmopolitan City of Brighton is 35 minutes' away and Tunbridge Wells 40 minutes. There is a wealth of picturesque villages in the surrounding areas and Kent and Sussex boast glorious gardens, vineyards and historic homes - all waiting to be explored.
We have a limited number of Non Smoking Rooms and although we always do our best to meet your requirements, we can not guarantee its availability.
Many of our rooms have beautiful antique furniture which gives them added character. The far-reaching views of the sea and Beachy Head are breath-taking. All rooms are en-suite have tea-making facilities, plenty of drawer and hanging space, hairdryer and modem points.
Enjoy a traditional English Cuisine Menu from ?21.95 within elegant surroundings, superb views of the Channel and excellent service.
Sunday lunches are available at ?11.95 for a two-course meal, or ?14.95 for a three course meal, coffee included. Booking in advance is highly advisable. Smart Casual Dress policy applies (no trainers, denims, shorts or t-shirts). Recently refurbished and boasting magnificent views over the Western Lawns and the Channel. For dinner reservations, please advise the hotel on arrival or telephone in advance.

Located just south of town center on B2103 (M25/A22) at the west end of seafront facing western lawns.
Parking Info
Locked garage parking also available at a nominal fee, payable at the hotel. Metered street parking is available directly outside the hotel.
