Following the successful opening of the first LUXX in Bangkok, the philosophy, design and culture of small, HIP and boutique hotels defined a new era in Bangkok’s hotel industry. LUXX pioneered the rise of small boutique hotels in Bangkok and started an unusual trend.
LUXX is reinventing itself with the opening of the new LUXX, LUXX XL.
LUXX XL stands in a 7-story design building that converged function, space and style. With only 51 rooms in total, the privacy and exclusivity is ensured to all guests.
Located within the quiet and stylish road – Langsuan, the new LUXX XL is at the heart of Bangkok’s shopping, entertainment and business districts. The new LUXX XL is a few meters away from the nearest BTS sky train stations, BTS Chidlom and BTS Rajdamri, connecting premier shopping plazas such as Central Chidlom, Amarin Plaza, Gaysorn mall and Erawan mall surrounding the Ratchaprasong square where Central world plaza, Siam Paragon, Siam Center and Siam Discovery Center are a BTS station away.
On the other end of the road is the MRT subway station, MRT Silom where guests can pass through Bangkok’s oasis – the Lumphini park and immediately connects to Suan Lum Night Bazaar. LUXX XL is a few minutes away to the business districts of Wireless, Sathorn and Silom roads. Major embassies and consulates such as those of the United States, United Kingdom and Japan are all within a 10-15 minutes walking distance.
Stand out is “dip” - a 14 meters infinity edge and slate stone-designed salt-system swimming pool. “Milk” – a New York style glass breakfast area that overlooks the swimming pool and the garden. They are grouped together as features of “Club LUXX”.
Rooms are characterized by studios and suites in varied sizes and style. Studio room sizes start from 33 sqm to Studio L at 47 sqm. Suite room sizes start from 66 sqm for the one-bedroom to up to Suite L (2 bedrooms) at 99 sqm and to Suite XL (owner's suite, 2 bedrooms) 208 sqm.
In keeping up with the tradition of “beyond hotel”, all LUXX XL rooms features carefully crafted furniture and minimalist finishing and fittings made of teak wood, slate stone and polished / matte stainless steel. They come with the hallmark floor to ceiling windows and private balconies. LUXX is faithful to its “fun bathroom” concept so rooms still has the sexy open partitions. In-room entertainment includes LCD TV, DVD+CD+MP3 player, iPOD docking stand and complimentary WIFI in all rooms and public areas.
