Overview
The Madang Resort has an absolute water frontage onto Dallman Passage, the beautiful Madang Harbour and Yamilon Lagoon in 15 acres of landscaped gardens. The resort is set adjacent to the newly completed Kalibobo Village where facilties are jointly shared by both resorts.
Some of the outstanding features of Madang Resort are the bird life which includes tame Gourie Pigeons (Victoria Crown), Kokomo (Horn Bill), Cockatoos (Sulphur crested), Collector Parrots and unique Peacocks all of which roam free within the grounds. There is an orchid garden where numerous orchids from PNG and Hybrids from SE Asia can be seen. There is a Barramundi Pond which apart from Barramundi have Pacu's from South America with water fed from a waterfall. The resort has its own marina, PADI Dive Shop, Game Fishing, Kayaks & Sailing Canoes, bikes, traditional canoes for hire. There are four swimming pools, two lagoons and a jogging track. The famous "Haus Win" Restaurant is open nightly, lunch is served in the air conditioned Janek Aben and the Ruekwan Japanese Restaurant is open by appointment. Full room service is available between 6am-9.30pm.
The Sana Convention Centre which has capacity for up to 500 can be divided into three separate conference rooms of approx 150 each. There is a Secretariat office and facilities include video projection, multiple conference microphone and PA system, Lecturns, conference tables including a superb VIP conference setting for between 50-100 that is used for meetings such as the South Pacific Forum.
The Temadek Board room can accommodate 25 and the recently opened Nicholay Maclay Conference room can accommodate 50.
For additional venues we can offer the "Kalibobo Spirit", a luxurious motor yacht that can accommodate up to 120 on day cruising and 14 overnight.
Two marquees are available that can set up to 500 or be used for banquets up to 300.
Other facilities include a hair salon, gift shop, art gallery and Sepik Haus Tambaran.

Business Facilities
The Sana Room can accommodated up to 500 in theatre style or 350 in banquet style. The Sana Room has been used for some of the most important conferences in PNG including the 1995 Pacific Forum
The Sana Room divides into four smaller conference rooms, all with their own toilets, lighting, PA system, private entrances. Equipment includes computer, video, 36mm, 16mm and overhead projectors, white boards, flip charts, multiple conference microphone and PA system, wireless microphones, piano, music instruments, lighting, rostrum and stage.
In addition to the conference room, there are secretarial offices and a Business Centre equipped with word processing, printers, copying machine and access to internet.
Madang Resort has been host for many prestigous conferences including World Bank, South Pacific Customs, AusAID, National Executive Council, PNG Governor's Conference, PNG National Tourist Conferences, National Health Conference, South Pacific Fisheries Authority, Bank of South Pacific, Mobil Oil, United Nations, UNDP, Austrade and many more.
