Getting There
By Car
Turn off SH6 onto Condon Street, by the petrol station. Turn right onto Cron Street and the hostel is at the end of the street on the left.

By Bus/Shuttle
All major bus companies stop at our front door. They will pick up here as well on request.

Train
The TranzAlpine train travels from christchurch to Greymouth daily. An Intercity bus service meets this train and arrives in Franz Josef late afternoon.

Plane
The nearest airport is Hokitika, a 2 hour drive north of Franz Josef. Car rentals are available from Hokitika, but there is no scheduled transportation from the airport.

Parking Info
Off street parking is available at the hostel.
