As our name suggests, most of our 40 suites enjoy views over leafy Hagley Park, many from their own private balcony. Enjoy the ever-changing outlook, as Spring daffodils, cherry blossom and brilliant Autumn colours each in turn grace this much-loved Christchurch icon.


Parkview on Hagley’s location allows guests easy access to the park ‘s many facilities: enjoy a game of golf or tennis, start your day with a run or walk on the many tree-lined paths, take the family boating on the Avon River or explore the world-famous Botanic Gardens.

The Christchurch CBD is within walking distance, as are the shopping meccas of Westfield Riccarton and Tower Junction. Excellent dining options are even closer at hand, with the Running Bull Restaurant and Bar on site.

Our luxury hotel suite accommodation is of the highest standard, with a palette of sumptuous reds and golds enhanced by the use of quality materials such as leather, granite and oak.

We can hold meetings and conferences in the running Bull Restaurant within the complex. The venue can cater for conferences and private functions for 20 to 130 people. Running Bull has ability to hold wedding celebrations also.

Every room in the complex has a high speed broadband connection. This facility is FREE OF CHARGE, so is ideal for the corporate/business traveller.

Getting There
By Car from Airport to hotel: Straight in Memorial Avenue, turn right into Harpers Avenue and proceed along to roundabout at Riccarton Road corner. Head straight through where you enter Deans Avenue. Bartlett Street is the first street on the right where you will see our signage and enter the carpark to reception off Bartlett St.

By Car from Train Station to Hotel: Turn right into Whiteleigh Avenue, cross Blenhiem Road into Clarence Street and proceed straight through to Riccarton road. Turn right into Riccarton road and proceed to roundabout on the park. Our property is on the right hand side. Reception off Bartlett Street.
