The Oceanside Motel has a range of quality upmarket accommodation comprising of 1 bedroom, deluxe and executive studio units. We can cater for all holiday, corporate and group bookings.

All units have been recently refurbished and are self-contained. You’ll find your own patio or balcony from where you may relax and take in the superb panoramic 180 degrees sea views of Buffalo Beach and Mercury Bay.

With a great location you are only a ten minute stroll away from town, the wharf, shops and cafés, and a few metres across to the safe swimming area of Buffalo Beach.

With many iconic scenic attractions either within walking distance or a 20-30 minute drive, the Oceanside Motel is the perfect base from which to explore and enjoy the magical Coromandel region.

Getting There
We are just less than 1km from the main centre of Whitianga and the Tourist Information Centre which is also the bus depot.

Heading north from town along the Esplanade and onto Buffalo Beach Road the Oceanside Motel is on the left with two large flags flying above the motel sign. Driving time would be 1-2 minutes, walking would be 10-12 minutes.

We are 180km from Tauranga Airport.
