NOMADS Fat Camel Backpackers Hostel and bar is a traditional backpackers with unique apartment style accommodation. We're right in heart of Auckland City just minutes away from Vector Arena, the Sky tower and the famous Viaduct Harbour.
The hostel is laid out in apartment style with fully stocked kitchens, lounge room and more than enough showers and bathrooms. We have rooms to cater for everyone's needs, from doubles and twins to 6 and 8 share dorms. We even have an entire apartment exclusively for girls.
We care about you and safety is a priority for us. Our reception is staffed 24 hours. The building is also protected with video cameras and access to the building is with swipe card technology.
If you feel like getting out of your apartment, the hostel has a massive communal room with a big screen TV, reading/chill-out area an extra bathroom and another communal kitchen.

Getting There
The easiest way to find us from the airport is to take either the airbus or the shuttle. If you come by taxi just let the driver know you're heading to The Fat Camel on Fort Street in downtown Auckland which is just off the main road called Queen Street
Parking Info
Unfortunately we do not have parking available on or off street, however there is paid parking available 50 metres up the road.
