Mountain Chalets is situated in Twizel, 40mins drive from Mount Cook, on State Highway 8 between Christchurch and Queenstown. This picturesque site is on the doorstep to some of New Zealand's finest scenery. Located in the Mackenzie Country

There are 25 chalets in quiet park-like setting. The chalets have fully equipped kitchen, microwave, Sky TV, electric blankets, heat pump, air-conditioning and iron. Parking available in front of each chalet.

Other facilities: Continental and European breakfast available, guest laundry, BBQ, Cot hire, Pets by prior arrangement.

Within 10 minutes walking to variety of restaurants/cafes. Within 40 minutes to 2 popular ski fields (Ohau & Roundhill,Tekapo). 20 minutes drive to unique hot tubs, 40 minutes to sauna, ice-skating. Great mountain bike and tramping trails.
