Imagine 10 acres of parkland surrounded by forest! This is Mount Richmond Estate with fully equipped, newly refurbished motel suites. Set on a plateau just a couple of kms from Rai Valley township with excellent access from Havelock (20mins), Blenheim (50mins), Picton, and Nelson (50mins).
Individual motel suites are two bedroom with modern, well equipped kitchen, bathroom, lounge/diner with TV, dvd player and freeview. All units have a north facing deck for that sunny aspect. Air conditioned for your comfort.
Our licensed cafe/restaurant - Foresters is open 9am - 6pm daily (except Christmas Day) and evenings at the weekend, serving delicious chef produced meals, snacks. A fine selection of Marlborough and Nelson wines, beers, soft drinks and fantastic locally roasted coffee. Sit inside in front of the log burner in the cooler months or outside on the deck in the warmer months.
Great location to explore the Marlborough Sounds, with Elaine Bay, Cissy Bay, Duncan Bay, Tennyson Inlet and French Pass for boating, fishing, kayaking. Experience the Tui Nature Reserve, a boat ride away at Waitata Bay in the Sounds.
Forest walks and mountain biking tracks near by. Tennis, basketball, croquet, barbeque, laundry, wifi and internet access, boat/trailer storage all on site. Or just take it easy sat on your deck with a good bottle of Marlborough wine! Imagine.

Getting There
From Picton just over one hour by road, follow main highway to Nelson. From Nelson follow main road to Marlborough, Mount Richmond estate is 45 minutes from Nelson, the first property over the Marlborough boundary,it is well signposted. Shuttle buses stop by arrangement.
