Lakeview Tekapo has been designed and purpose-built in 2010 with our Guest's comfort in mind.

Each of our luxury self-contained suites enjoys absolute and uninterrupted views of Lake Tekapo, the Southern Alps and the lake's surrounding mountain ranges.

Each suite has a SuperKing bed with sky window for stargazing from your bed, ensuite bathroom including shower, heater, underfloor heating (in winter), toiletries and hair dryer.
Each suite also includes a lounge with quality furnishings, 2 x LCD TVs, SkyDigital, FREE wireless broadband internet, air conditioning, iPod dock / music station, private telephone, dining table & chairs, well equipped kitchen facilities and complimentary off-street carparking.
Due to the design and configuration of our suites, we do not cater for children.

We are situated just a short walk from the lakefront, Lake Tekapo Regional Park and Lake Tekapo's famous Church of the Good Shepherd and the high country working dogs monument.

Lake Tekapo is ideally located in the centre of New Zealand's South Island, and conveniently half-way between Christchurch and Queenstown, both being a comfortable 3 hours drive in their respective directions. Timaru, on the east coast, and Mt Cook, west towards the Southern Alps, are both a comfortable 1.5 hours drive in their respective directions.

Lake Tekapo is the perfect stopover point along State Highway 8, or as a holiday destination to either enjoy outdoor activities or just kick back for some rest and relaxation.

The Lake Tekapo community is actively involved in saving its starry night sky and has recently been accredited with Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark-Sky Reserve, gold status.

How to find us:
From the East [Fairlie / Timaru / Christchurch]
As you drive into Lake Tekapo, take the first left turn into Hamilton Drive, and then the next left turn is Lochinver Avenue. Lakeview Tekapo is approximately 100 metres on your right, at 6 Lochinver Avenue.

From the West [Twizel / Queenstown]
Drive through Lake Tekapo township and pass over the lake outlet bridge. 1 km further up the road, as you reach the road sign indicating ?Roundhill Snow Field?, turn right into Hamilton Drive, and then the next left turn into Lochinver Avenue. Lakeview Tekapo is approximately 100 metres on your right, at 6 Lochinver Avenue.
