Overview
Welcome to our place! We offer a wide range of accommodation types to suit all travellers. We have modern motels, self-contained units, lodges, standard cabins, powered and non-powered vehicle sites and tent sites.This accommodation range is matched with excellent communal facilities, and our peaceful rural setting, with the towering Southern Alps visible from all around the park.

We have 3 kitchen/dining rooms on the property, centrally located to be close at hand to all accommodations. These are integrated ‘open plan’ cooking and eating facilities, designed with your comfort and convenience in mind. Cooking equipment and cutlery is not provided, but we hire these if required.

We have developed a big BBQ area where you can relax with friends and enjoy a BBQ experience as you would at home. Great BBQ facilities in an all weather location.

There are 3 toilet/shower blocks around the park, so, whether you are in one of our standard cabins, your campervan or in a tent, the facilities are close at hand. And we’ve got lots of hot water! We have a purpose built family bathroom which is perfect for young families, elderly guests and guests with disabilities. The family bathroom has a toilet, shub, changing table, 2 x showers and wheelchair access. We have designed this with space and privacy in mind.

Talk about TV we’ve got a range of Digital TV options from SKY (in motels) to Freeview (NZ’s own Digital network), internet (wifi and terminals available) Our place is relaxing & convivial with indoor-outdoor flows and space fo all weather activities. We’ve put a great deal of thought into how we can service your needs with YOU in mind!

The Park grounds are expansive, and private, covering 10 acres. We have created a wonderful adventure playground for the kids which is centrally located next to the main amenities block and close to the reception area.

We have a laundry on site, with coin operated washing machines and dryers. Washing powder can be purchased from Reception.

We’ve a HUGE amount of space here with a variety of settings.
It’s private, being away from main roads and the grounds are expansive covering 10 acres. No matter where you stand around the park there’s a magic view!

We’d always had a playground, but a few years ago we went all out to give the kids a real taste of what we wished we’d had as kids. Our new adventure playground is loaded with great implements for all ages. We located it centrally so as to keep it in sight of parents as they cook, do the laundry, BBQ, relax & socialise.
Fun Bikes

Check these out, the kids absolutely love ripping around the park under their own steam. The funbikes can be hired from reception and we have a range of sizes and shapes. It’s hard to not be a little jealous as you hear the kids laughing their heads off as they explore the expansive grounds.

Some of the best advice you may get during your stay may come straight from our friendly, informed staff who all live here at Fox Glacier and know the place like the back of their hand. You can rely on them to keep you up to date with weather and conditions on the glacier, or get pointed in the right direction to a good forest walk, maybe even a stunning sunset on an isolated West Coast beach.

It’s a real community feel here at the park. We try our best to make you feel at home while on holiday. Our facilities are built to give you space and privacy but also provide you with the opportunity to meet other good people and share a beer or wine over the BBQ.
