Overview
The City Centre Motel is one of the closest 4star plus motels to the centre of Christchurch and consistantly ranks highly on Tripadvisor.

We have 16 spacious, tastefully decorated apartments, set well back from the road. Our property, although so close to the city centre, is set in a quiet location surrounded by protected trees in the midst of an award winning garden.

The Motel is comprised of 2 x two-bedroom apartments, 2 x spacious one bedroom apartments, 2 x standard one bedroom apartments (one has mobility access) and 10 x studio apartments (including one with mobility access).

We have downstairs apartments, most with ranchslider access to a sitting out area and all have ensuites - most with a bath and the shower over the bath. Some of our upstairs apartments have a balcony and all have ensuite bathrooms with a shower (no bath). If you have a particular preference for any room type, please let us know at your time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

We have free wireless internet available for all our guests.

There are a variety of restaurants within easy walking distance of the motel to suit all tastes and budgets, and we can recommend the best to you when you are here.

Hagley Park, the Botanic Gardens and the casino are all within a 5-10 minute walk from our motel. We are an easy 15-20 minute drive from Christchurch Airport, a 10 minute drive from the Railway Station and CBS Arena and within easy commutable distance of all of the city's attractions.

There are planty of shuttles and taxis available at the airport and train station on your arrival.

Getting There
The City Centre Motel is located at 876 Colombo Street (between Bealey Avenue and Salisbury Street) and is an easy 15-20 minute drive from Christchurch airport. If you're not picking up a rental car, we are happy to arrange a "meet and greet" on your behalf with either a shuttle or a taxi - just let us know your flight details.

Parking Info
There is substantial, free, off-street car parking on the complex and we have plenty of storage for luggage, cycles, ski equipment if you require.
