Getting There
Located at beautiful Karioitahi Beach, just 10 minutes drive from the quaint country town of Waiuku and within 50 minutes drive south west of Auckland Central and Auckland Airport, pickup from airport by arrangement.
-Head south down the southern motorway
-Take the Drury offramp
-Turn right at the end of the offramp you will drive under the motorway over bridge
-Continue on this road until you reach the Pukekohe Golf Course on your right
-Turn right at the signposted turn off to Waiuku - this is the Glenbrook-Waiuku Road - you will see a sign referring to the Glenbrook Vintage Railway
-Continue along this road (it changes names to Collingwood Road and then Kitchener Road) all the way until you reach a T-intersection in the village of Waiuku
-Turn right onto Queen Street
-Turn left onto Bowen Street
-Turn left onto Constable Road
-Continue along Constable Road it will change into Karioitahi Road this is the road Castaways is on Continue all the way along Karioitahi Road you will see the beach
-Just before reaching the beach, turn left and you have arrived at Castaways
- Accommodation office 1st chalet on the left up the hill
