Overview
With 40 units we can offer a wide range of options from cosy studios upstairs to standard and luxury spa units downstairs. The 1 2 and 3 bedroom units are great for sports teams and large groups. All units have kitchens, 37 of them with full sized ovens. Some studios have desks for the corporate travelers.

One of the most quoted reasons why guests stay with us over and over is that they didn't expect a motel as quiet as Camelot to be so close to the centre of the city. It is our peaceful setting and ease of access that you too will find so appealing.

Unlike most motels we have a diverse range of accommodation available, from studios for singles or couples through to three bedroom units to accommodate a family or group traveling together and two studio units with wheelchair access.

The units are well away from traffic noise and there is ample parking for vehicles of all sizes.

We are situated on busy Ulster Street which is only a few minute’s walk to the Rugby stadium, river walks, CBD and a range of popular cafes and bars.

FACILITIES

Broadband Internet - For your convenience we have installed a broadband network within the motel complex. The service is unrestricted allowing you free access to your email and internet sites (using your own laptop). This is a free, but secure service. Please ask at reception for a user name and password.

Outdoor Swimming pool - For safe family swimming pool our solar heated pool is available for use by guests. The pool has a small family area to allow you to relax and enjoy a gentle afternoon of swimming.

Laundry - The modern, efficient washers in our guest laundry can handle the average families laundry needs, we have a dryer and drying area available. Special arrangements can be made to launder team uniforms in the Motel's commercial laundry.

Food and Dining - Start your day with one of our delicious breakfasts delivered to your room. Order at reception and your choice of breakfast will be delivered to your room next morning.
Hamilton has a wide choice and variety of restaurants to suit all tastes, ask at reception for our recommendations. We are also able to order you a taxi to save driving and parking.

Getting There
From Auckland: Follow SH1 which becomes Ulster Street as you near the central city. We are half way down "motel mile" on the rght. Look for our two big trees.

From Taupo: Follow SH1 into city. Just past Hamilton Gardens move into centre lane, turn right at overhead sign to Hamilton East. Continue down Grey Street for several kms until you pass Claudelands Event Centre and park on right. At roundabout turn left and travel over bridge. At 2nd set lights turn right into Ulster Street. We are 100m on left.

From SH3 continue straight through until you reach lights at bottom of small hill and hospital will be on the right. Continue straight ahead to a busy roundabout. Turn left (sign is to Frankton)travel to busy intersection with Rugby stadium ahead and to the left. Turn right into Mill Street. At 2nd set traffic lights turn left into Ulster Street. We are 100m on left

Parking Info
There is ample parking outside your unit and it is well away from the street. We can accommodate boats and buses. Security lighting operates.
