Overview
Brinkley Resort is a High Country Qualmark 4 Star rated self contained accommodation complex and conference centre situated in the Alpine heartland village of Methven at the foothills of majestic Mt Hutt.
Our rooms & apartments are fully self contained with laundry facilities adjoining for your convenience. As we are an apartment style fully self contained complex a service is provided if staying 7 nights or more. Daily services are available on request, please check on arrival for daily service costs.
We are a two minute walk to the centre of town and a conveniently positioned transport stop for all mountain bound tour operators.
Featuring 80 self contained apartments comprised of 40 studios and 40 quality two bedroom apartments full laundry facilities are shared between the apartment & studio room. The apartments all contain spa baths, ideal for relaxing after a day on the mountain. Award winning Shackleton's Restaurant with fireplace & mountain views is the perfect place to enjoy a mulled wine & stay on for a delectable dinner.

With our stunning gardens and the unbeatable backdrop of the Southern Alps, we are well known as one of Canterbury’s leading venues for weddings and conferences but we also cater for training seminars, product launches, weddings, anniversaries and family reunions. In fact any corporate function or social celebration with weddings & corporate groups our specialty.
We will meet the needs of your next meeting, convention, product launch or incentive. Our modern Convention Centre hosts from 15 to 150 delegates with state of the art technical equipment, full in house conference support, on site catering and only one hour away from Christchurch airport. Brinkley Resort is the ideal venue for your next function or seminar.
Our conference facility is designed to achieve results supporting up to 120 delegates Boardroom style, 150 theatre style or our centre can be or subdivided into three separate rooms with the use of sound proof partitions.
The conference area has underfloor heating and our technical equipment includes an electronic whiteboard, a superb sound system with wireless microphone, slide and overhead projectors, lectern, whiteboards, flipcharts, 21 inch TV and video combination, facsimile and photocopying service.

Getting There
Only 1 hour south of Christchurch Airport & situated 1/2 hour from Mt Hutt Ski base. Simply follow Highway 1 South to Rakaia for 1/2 hour and turn right at the Mobil Roadhouse or Big Salmon at Rakaia. Travel on this road for 1/2 an hour and look for the Methven sign. Brinkley Resort is on your right as you drive into the village.
Parking Info
Vehicle parking is provided within the resort outside the apartments.
