Little Bottle Lake Forest Park, Travis Nature Heritage Park, The New Brighton Pier, the award-winning new library, many fine restaurants, bars and cafes, a club, a supermarket, 3 playgrounds and 3 golf courses are all within walking distance. City centre is only 10km or 15 minutes away (a relax and scenic drive via Dyres Rd).

You may go for fishing, surfing, kite-surfing, wind-surfing, swimming, trekking, bird-watching and feeding nearby all year around.

Or you may stay in your apartment and listen to the wave of The Pacific Ocean or watch TV with one of the best in-house entertainment systems in town: 32" high definition LCD TVs and massive 24+ crystal clear digital channels including 10 Sky/Pay TV channels (4 Sky Movies, 3 Sky Sports, Discovery, Disney Junior and National Geography) and all local digital channels. Getting There
From the airport (17km, 20min) or Timaru/Queenstown/Dunedin: Russley Rd, Johns Rd, Sawyers Arms Rd, Northcote Rd, QEII Dr, left turn onto Bowhill Rd (towards North Beach). Turn left at the end of Bowhill Rd. 72 Marine Pde is about 200m on the left, almost opposite North Beach Surfing Club.
From Picton/Kaikorua/Rangiora: Off State Highway 1 at Marshland Rd Exit, left turn onto QEII Dr, left turn onto Bowhill Rd, turn left onto Marine Pde.
Bus 60 and 44 to/from the Bus Exchange in city centre are just outside of the gate. To/from airport by bus, ride bus 29 from the airport and transfer to bus 60 or 44 in the city centre. Cost: $3.20 (Cnr of Orchild Rd and Memorial Ave)-$7.50 (outside of the terminal). 2nd ride is free within 2 hours. More info: www.metroinfo.co.nz.
