Ashleigh Court Motel Rotorua is in a quiet location but close to the city, restaurants and all the major tourist attractions available in Rotorua.

We have 13 comfortable units which consists of 8 studio units which can sleep 2-4 persons and 5 family units which can sleep 2-5 persosn. All units are self-contained with fully equipped kitchens, tidy clean bathrooms which includes own private spa pools. All units have new 26" LCD Digital Sky TV .Enrolled with SKY TV _"Guest Select" with decoder in each unit and selection of over 50 Channels available.(Extra TV in family units), microwave ovens, heaters, hair-dryers, phone, internet dial-up access plus FREE WI-FI Internet access from in all units., electric blankets. DVD player is available on request. We supply cots and high-chairs at no extra cost to guests.

For your convenience, we also offer fax facilities and extra freezer storage. This can be arranged at reception. The Motel also has a very clean and tidy guests laundry for washing, drying at nominal costs and there is free-ironing facility available.

We can also assist with tour bookings and this is a free service that we provide to our guests. Particularly popular is the Maori Cultural Concert/Hangi evenings which include free pick-up and drop-off.And we are only 70kms from the Hobbiton Village Site, where they are rebuilding the Village for the upcoming filming of The Hobbits - a great sequel to the World Famous Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Our Manager ( who is a first cousin to Sir Peter Jackson - LOTR Film Director ) prides himself in spending time in assisting guests to plan their Rotorua visit - to get the best value for the "Mud, Maori culture, Geyser and full Rotorua experience" .
Our staff speak fluent English and Chinese (Mandarin). We have been dubbed as the "Rotorua Barmy Army Branch". This will provide a genuine British sporting welcome to UK visitors and to Sports fans from the World Over. No hooligans- just a great British welcome!! Our property is self-rated as a 4 star Motel. Your Hosts are Brian and Mary. Mary came originally from the North-East of China. She is a Kiwi now and bi-lingual as a bonus. Brian is Welsh born and brought up in North London- which explains his allegiance to Tottenham Hotspur- evident in the extensive display of sporting memoronilia that decorates reception.We will welcome all Overseas visitors on your Visit to us.Overseas visitors can record their visit on our large World Map.We have ample secure overnight storage for Bikes.

Our Fisherman guide (Ernie) has nearly 30 years experience in the region.he is "simply the best" in our opinion.

Getting There
We are situated on Fenton Street. Easy to find if arriving from Taupo, Napier, Hastings and Wellington. We are the 4th Motel on the left once you enter Fenton Street by the Golf Course.

If approaching from City Centre, we are 1km south on SH5 towards Taupo (South)

Parking Info
We have off-street parking in the side street and outside units for all units. We can accommodate small buses, boats, trailers by arrangement- plus secured garage storage for Trail-bikes and Mountain bikes etc
