Overview
Located in a quiet suburban area of Dunedin you will find Arcadian Motel, 8minutes drive to the center of town and at the gateway to the Otago Peninsula. Home to the Royal Albatross, yellow eyed penguin and many other forms of wildlife. Whether to by a coffee or stock up at a supermarket, we have many local amenities within walking distance and public transport right outside our gate. We can offer units for a single overnight traveler to the largest of families housed in 2 and 3 bedroom units. All units have free on site carparking with free wireless access, large LCD tvs with Blu-Ray players and a Blu-Ray library showers, telephones,electric blankets, port a cots, guest laundry and most units have full kitchens and heat pumps with breakfasts also available
For the sporting groups our location is prime for the Edgar sports center with Ice Skating Stadium, Bowls and Golf courses all close by. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff will help and advise on the many attractions and things to do during your stay in Dunedin to ensure your stay with us will be one to remember.

Getting There
If travelling from the South turn right onto Andersons Bay road at the end of the Southern Motorway. Continue on this road. As it leaves the commercial area and moves into the residential area (Just past the BP petrol station) the road swings left around some high ground and changes its name to Musselburgh Rise. We are approximately 500 metres further on the left.
From the North follow the one way road through town. At the end of the one way road follow the signage for Andersons Bay. It will take you onto Andersons Bay Road and on into Musselburgh Rise.
The Shiel Hill bus from the Octagon passes our gate.
Parking Info
We offer generous off-street parking outside your unit. There is also room for trailers or a second car.
