Overview
Located in central Nelson, an easy 5 minute walk to Nelson's excellent restaurants, shops,cafes and markets. Our friendly family run motel has 22 units. All our units are self contained with kitchen and bathroom. All units have Sky TV and are serviced daily by our housekeepers. We have a very large safe off Street Car park.

There are plenty of options for you to choose from, including spacious one bedroom units with Super King beds in the bedroom, separate lounge with a pull out sofa bed if needed.

We have a range of studios, they all contain a queen sized bed, lounge area (some units with pull out sofas), kitchen and bathroom.

Our beautiful executive studios have been completely refurbished with completely new kitchens and bathrooms installed, that you will love.

Our two bedroom units are on the first floor and all have balconies off the lounge. These are all self contained including cook tops, electric frying pans, microwave, refrigerator.
We offer several different configurations to suit your family and requirements. For the larger families there is a double bed in the bedroom off the lounge and three single beds in the upstairs bedroom. There are also units with two single beds in the upstairs bedroom.

Our executive two bedroom is more open plan, it has a queen bed in the bedroom downstairs which allows you to watch TV from the queen bed. These have been recently refurbished.

We are located between Nelson hospital, Nelson Boys college and Nelson Girls Colleges (closer to Nelson Girls at town end of Waimea Road)very short walk to either College. If you feel like staying in, Admirals is located next door to a Restaurant which provides a meal delivery service.

All guests are able to use the Swimming Pool, Guest Laundry.

Admiral's friendly staff will do their best to ensure you have the best stay in sunny Nelson. We can help with local advice as to things to do and see in the Nelson and Able Tasman area.

Getting There
From South: Stay on State highway number 6 until the large roundabout past the Airport turn-off. Do not go to Tahunanui, go straight through roundabout to "City Central Via Bishopdale". This is Waimea Road, it will go past the hospital and we are at the town end. Look for our large Blue Sign on your Left.

From North: You will approach Nelson along Queen Elizabeth II drive, go to the "City center" by turning onto Trafalger St, follow this street until it stops at the base of the cathedral. Turn right onto Selwyn Place and then at the traffic lights turn left onto Rutherford St. Follow Rutherford St around a small bend where it becomes Waimea Rd, we are just past on the Right. Look for our blue sign just past the park.

Parking Info
Ample off-street car parking is available. The car park is easily able to accommodate several large tour and coach buses. Parking is complimentary for guests.
