Villa Saulina is only 15 kilometres from Florence and is easily reached by car or by train. Surrounded by the peaceful and rejuvenating landscape of the rolling Tuscan hills among vineyards, olive gardens and small medieval villages, the facility features a manor house dating back to 1800 and several detached farmhouses immersed in gardens and tranquillity.

Bedrooms are located in our main villa built in Art Nouveau style architecture, recently renovated carriage houses and a group of farm houses that have maintained the characteristics so typical of Tuscan country living of days gone by. The manor house also features common areas such as our reception hall, a bar and the spacious living room that can also accommodate up to 50 people for special meetings and events. Our restaurant is also located inside the manor house. Guests can enjoy delicious meals that include typical local delicacies from a cuisine filled with carefully selected fresh ingredients that express our Italy to the fullest.

The bedrooms available in several types are tastefully furnished with elements reflecting Tuscan tradition that recapture that evocative atmosphere of the ancient farmhouses rising in the surrounding hills: wooden or terracotta floors, walnut furniture and beds with wrought iron headboards. Each bedroom comes with bathroom with shower, hair dryer, individual heating/air conditioner, television, safe, telephone and mini-fridge. Some of our rooms also feature plasma TV complete with video games, pay-tv, Television internet connection or wire connection as well as mini-bar. Villa Saulina offers our guests 14 flats, each of which has been renovated and adapted to the needs of today's traveller while maintaining the qualities of a typical, rustic farmhouse from years gone by. Our flats all include a fully furnished kitchen, living room, comfortable bedrooms that can accommodate from 2 - 10 people plus an outdoor area complete with barbecue grill.

The surrounding area is filled with activities for your leisure time: horseback riding, golf courses, a facility that offers massages, tours of local wine cellars, hunting, fishing and much more. Villa Saulina is the ideal departure point for a day dedicated to discovering the renowned Chianti valley or the historical-cultural marvels considered among Italy's finest treasures.

Our bedrooms are available with various standards and each are tastefully decorated with furniture and materials typical of the Tuscan tradition. The effect is an ambiance that recalls the ancient farmhouses that once stood in the surrounding hills: terracotta or wood floors, walnut furniture and beds with wrought iron headboards.

Getting There
By Car
Take A1 Autostrada exit: Firenze-Scandicci and follow directions for Superstrada Firenze-Pisa-Livorno towards Pisa. Exit at Lastra a Signa and Keep Right, continuing along the main street, crossing the entire town. Pass the first traffic light and after about 100 metres turn left towards Malmantile-Ginestra. Climb the hill for approximately 4 kilometres, passing the intersection for Malmantile; after about 200 metres, turn left onto the driveway leading directly to the Villa

By Aeroplane
Florence's Amerigo Vespucci Airport is only 15 kilometres from Villa Saulina. Pisa's Galileo Galilei Airport is about 60 kilometres away. The Villa is not difficult to reach from Pisa, thanks to the Firenze- Pisa- Livorno Superstrada.

By a Train
To reach Villa Saulina from Florence's Santa Maria Novella railway station (approximately 15 kilometres), you can our reserve a taxi through our hotel or even take advantage of the convenient connections that stop at the Lastra a Signa railway station (approximately 2 kilometers from Villa Saulina). A shuttle service (upon reservation and payment) is available. We would be happy to accompany you.
