PLEASE NOTE the Impruneta city council has applied a daily city tax to be paid directly at the hotel at the check out (2EUR per person). Children up to 13 years old are exempted. The city tax will not be applied beyond the 8th night stay.

Situated on the outskirts of a quaint village by the name of Impruneta, the Relais Villa l'Olmo is perched on a hill dotted with grey olive trees, overlooking the Chianti valley. Lying a mere 10 kilometres from the city of Florence and its airport, a 10-minute drive from the main road to Siena and from the A1 motorway linking Milan to Rome, this is the ideal location for relaxing in the Tuscan countryside without forfeiting the chaotic bustle of Florence. While the city can be reached by public transportation every 30 minutes, the village centre is a 5-minute stroll from the Relais, where the Tuscan culinary delicacies can be savoured in typical trattorias.

The Property:

Nestled in a 70-hectar landscape of rolling hills, the 16th-century Relais mirrors the careful renovation completed in 2000, work that was painstakingly undertaken to preserve the original architectural structure. In addition to the 7 apartments, 2 cottages and farmhouse available for guests, the property encompasses vineyards, olive groves, the owners? private residence and an operating farm.

The Apartments and Cottages:

Made up of a living room, a fully equipped kitchen area, bedrooms and bathrooms, each apartment is tastefully decorated with hand-made lamps, cheery gingham and stripe fabrics, traditional rod-iron tables and chairs, and comfortable sofas. Comfort is assured by modern kitchen and bathroom fittings as well as amenities, i.e., direct phone lines, satellite TV, CD players (a selections of films is available at the reception), air conditioning, independent heating, and daily cleaning, towel and bed service. Washing machines are available in certain rentals.
While the two private cottages offer the same comforts as the apartments, they each benefit, in addition, from a private pool and garden overlooking the valley.

Getting There
Highway A1 : Milan ? Bologna - Florence ? (after Florence North please follow the highway further on direction Rome ?Roma?; if -on the other hand- you are coming from Rome, than after the sign Florence South, proceed in direction of Bologna).
Highway exit : FIRENZE IMPRUNETA(coming from Milan this exit is located after Firenze Nord and Firenze Scandicci in direction of Rome; coming from Rome this exit is located after Florence South in direction of Bologna).
Immediately after the highway exit ?Firenze Impruneta? there is a big traffic circle ? please go straight on and take the direction of TAVARNUZZE/GREVE.
As soon as you enter TAVARNUZZE pls. turn left (there is already a sign indicating IMPRUNETA and there is a car-mechanist on your left side as well).
Follow the direction-signs to IMPRUNETA.
At approximately 200 meters after the village sign ?Impruneta? and after a gas-station called ?Agip? on your left, there is a small (non-asphalted) path on your right ? there is also a sign ?Relais Villa l?Olmo?. There you are - the Relais is on your left side.
