Overview
The main feature of “Antico Pastificio - The Old Pasta Factory " is the perfect isolation from the outside although being located inside a country village.
The Old Pasta Factory was carefully restored to new life after over fifty years of neglect without compromising the traditional Tuscan features, such as the antique frescoed walls, beamed wooden or vaulted ceilings, original terracotta floors.
The property is a green oasis right on the edge of Greve in Chianti.
Situated only a two minute stroll from town central square filled with cafès, restaurants and markets shops.
The property is surrounded by a peaceful garden with swimming-pool.To add to the setting, the property backs on to its own private little vineyard on the rolling hills behind and right in the vineyard, there are gazebos located by a little stream complete with BarBQ, hammocks and a playpark for children.
Greve is in the very heart of Tuscany, located between Florence and Siena and also close to famous places like San Gimignano (50km), Pisa (110 km), Lucca (100 km).

In the surroundings of Greve, it is possible to take nice walks, horse riding and cycling
in a splendid countryside. All guests can partecipate to organized mountain-bike tours, recommended shopping in the outlets, cooking or pottery lessons and many other activities according to the period.
We also have facilities at the nearby “Ugolino Golf Club” which is only 15 km away from Greve.
Organized dinners in the vineyard take place from July till September on request of our guests.
The building, divided into two different parts, " The Yellow Pasta Factory " & " The Orange Pasta Factory ", offers various solutions of stay.

Two Bedroom Apt.(4-7 people)70 sm . Spacious living-room with a double sofa bed and cooking corner, one double and one triple bedroom, one bathroom with shower, satellite tv and independent heating. No need of air-conditioning because of the large walls. First floor or ground floor (all with space outdoor by the pool).
Double Bedroom (2 people)with ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning and satellite tv.First floor or ground floor (all with space outdoor on a wide terrace).

Getting There
By Car
From Milan and Rome - take Highway A1 and - if you come from the north of Italy take direction Rome - if you come from the south of Italy take direction Bologna. From both directions exit at Firenze Certosa. Take the way "Grevigiana" (at the roundabout after the highway exit, go straight to Greve in Chianti and follow the signs to Greve. When you arrive in Greve (and you are still on the way "Grevigiana) pass the third trafic light and
turn right at the first street on your right, where the Church is and then, after a few metres, right again . You are now on Matteotti square.Go straight and cross the square; enter the road in front of you, Via Roma (there is a bank at the corner on the right).
After 30 metres more or less, you will see an arch on your left hand .
Pass through the arch, continue straight down and you will see our Reception on your left. You are arrived!!

BY BUS :
If you come by bus to Greve, you have to get a bus at the coach station which is in front of the main train station in Florence. Bus trip lasts an hour and the bus stop in Greve is walking distance from our complex.
