Gajah Mina is an exclusive Bali holiday destination on the picturesque South West coast of Bali, not far from the renowned Tanah Lot temple in Tabanan. An intimate boutique hotel of eleven independent vacation villas nestled among tropical gardens and scenic rice paddies.

Gajah Mina overlooks its own private beach carved into the volcanic rock. The setting is spectacular, natural caves and ancient stone carvings offering romantic walks across adjacent cliff top, headlands, rice paddies, coconut groves and deserted beaches. It is the perfect place for a honeymoon or romantic getaway.

Each villa discreetly nestles within its own walled garden offering view across rice paddies, palm fringed gardens and the rugged Balian beach coastline. Private terraces invite you to lounge amidst the clouds and the crown of palm.Tucked in between rice fields, the 27 meters long pool is built around the shape of a rice terrace.

A stroll toward the ocean lead to a small cape covered with thick alang - alang grasses, ending on a cliff from where view extend towards both end of the island. One of Gajah mina two headlands is maintained as a protected area for the Water Monitor, a timid unaggressive lizard which can grow to 1.7m in length. You can make wonderful walks on the 30 km long deserted beach.

Gajah Mina was designed by its French Owner to combine the ethnic characteristics of the Balinese cultural environment with a high level of comfort and sophistication. Furnished with a wide variety of antiques source from throughout the Indonesia archipelago, the villas are fashioned from natural materials such as volcanic stone, teak, coconut wood and unpolished marble. Stained glass bedroom windows add a touch of romance. Private verandahs with loungers are the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sea breeze and bask in the perfume of tropical flowers. A luxuriously appointed bathroom with outside garden shower complements each villa.

VILLA ACCOMMODATION

7 Standard Villas - 1 bedroom:
Artfully designed and furnished bungalows with private garden terrace and king size bed. Perfect for honeymooners.
2 Family Suites - 2 bedrooms:
Suite1 is perfect for small children, with communicating bedrooms, two bathrooms and an outside lounge. In a wide tropical garden going down to the swimming pool and the sea.
Suite 9 is two separated bungalow with outside bathroom and a gazebo. In a beautiful garden on top of a cliff overlooking the ocean. Very private for people with teenage children.
Honeymoon Villa:
Suites 10 & 11 are each 1 bedroom villas with a spectacular 360° view. Two tropical wooden houses on top of a cliff. See the surf from your king-sized bed or watch the sunset from your jacuzzi.

Naga Restaurant features French cuisine, Indonesian favorites, Thai specialities, organic vegetables, home made pastas and bread, grilled sea foods, world music and a wonderful view of the rice fields, a book case with games, magazines and books is at your disposal. Wi-Fi internet is provided.
